Cuisinart Blender
Some serious thought usually goes into the purchase of a blender. In choosing one, the hope is that it will last a long time, but in the final analysis, the choice is sometimes made through the recommendation of someone else!
However, reputation plays a big part in sales, and what better reputation than Cuisinart? As the name implies, Cuisinart had its origins in France. American-born Carl Sontheimer grew up and was educated in France where he developed a love of cooking.
When he was old enough, he returned to America to study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he gained valuable technical experience. On his return to France, he hoped to combine his new-found technical skills with that same love of cooking - that is, he hoped to find ways to produce fine food with relative ease.
When he saw an industrial blender at a cooking exhibition, the idea of producing a similar one, on a smaller scale for home use, was sewn! And so was founded, in 1971, the very first Cuisinart blender.
It didn't take long for people to catch on to the idea that this was one labour-saving idea, and, as follows with anything that saves considerable time and effort, it became a best-seller in a very short period of time.
This soon became the enthusiastic home-cook's 'must-have', and most sought-after appliance. Some sixteen years later, Sontheimer was able to sell the company that he'd formed, for $42 million! Such was Cuisinart's reputation!
Of course over the years, Cuisinart has developed and diversified in an effort to keep up with customer demands and expectations. If you are in the market for making smoothies, or shakes, or instantaneous creations of your choosing, you can rest assured that Cuisinart has kept pace with your thinking! The device that you choose will depend entirely on the demands that you want to place on your appliance, be it commercial or domestic.
Like all appliances, Cuisinart's range is designed around market demand and sentiment. From ice-crushing, to everyday food preparation, to party catering, be assured that Cuisinart will have you covered.
With reasonable care, your Cuisinart appliance will serve you well for many years. For those starting out on the journey of food preparation and innovation, your needs may be simple. However, you may find over time that you want to upgrade to a more sophisticated blender or food processor, one that might match your newfound culinary skills.
Cuisinart has a huge range of appliances that you can choose from.
